Additions and renovations to the Dick’s Drive-In located in Seattle’s Lake City Way neighborhood, originally built in 1963. The project included full demolition of back-of-house area. The scope included excavation, new slab on-grade, CMU walls, wood-framed roof and an expanded footprint. The space included public restrooms, a new janitorial space, employee lounge/locker area, conference space, storage areas, indoor trash space and loading dock. New electrical service and a revised HVAC unit for the building were installed as well as a new waterline from the street. Landscaping includes a bio-retention area, new paving and asphalt in the parking lot.
