Madison Lofts is a 20-unit, 2-level loft condominiums located in Madison Park and adjacent to the Washington Park Arboretum. With 30-foot deep columns to support the building foundation and long-span steel beams, the project provides unique loft living spaces free of columns. The units feature 16-foot ceilings in the living room, wide plank hardwood floors and euro-style kitchens with slab countertops and custom cabinetry. The building is a concrete and steel structure, with a brick veneer overlay, metal siding, window walls, and exposed MEP systems. Schuchart’s scope included full underground utilities, auger-cast piling foundation, at-grade building parking, and street level retail.
